Brice Dunwoodie - President
Brice is the President and
co-founder of Cylogy, Inc. Brice has been instrumental
in forming Cylogy's consulting services departments
and Cylogy's primary lines of business.
Brice has spent the previous nine years at such
companies as Oracle Corporation, Andromedia,
Inc., and Macromedia, Inc. During his time at
Oracle Brice
led the global readiness and deployment of
customer service
for the Oracle
Video Server product and worked with such
prestigious clients as British Telecom, New
Brunswick Telephone, Sky Television, and SingTel.
While at
Macromedia, Brice
consulted with a number of Macromedia's top-tier
clients and contributed numerous
white
papers
on topics such as Advanced Personalization
Techniques, Integrating Dynamic Personalization
with J2EE Applications, and Distributed Web Applications.
His
Macromedia client engagements included
Chase Manhattan Bank, Checkout.com, BroadbandSports.com,
Blockbuster Video, IBM Global Services, and
Union Bank of Switzerland.
Brice has been an active entrepreneur and small,
information technology business owner for over
ten years. He has been a contributing member
to Computer Professionals for Social Responsibility,
is a member of the Asilomar
Institute for Information Architecture, and
maintains the CMSWire web
magazine, an online resource for content management
industry professionals. Brice received his B.S.
degree in Psychology and Computer Science
from
California
State
University,
San Luis Obispo.
Ryan Bennett - Director, Principal Architect
Ryan is director of Technology, Principal Architect, and a co-founder of Cylogy, Inc. Prior to forming Cylogy, Ryan was a Principal Consultant in Macromedia's e-Business Solutions Group. While at Macromedia Ryan architected and deployed numerous enterprise data management systems related to e-commerce and personalization and provided a variety of application development consulting services to both start-ups and Fortune 1000 customers.
Previous to Macromedia, Ryan spent over 4 years at Oracle Corporation were he undertook a number of responsibilities from supporting top-tier RDBMS customers such as AT&T and the US Department of Defense to his role as Senior Project Manager for the Oracle Application Server and Oracle Message Broker products. In his position as Senior Project Manager Ryan led global support rollouts of new products, led inter-organization product readiness initiatives, and served as technical lead for pre-release product acceptance testing.
Ryan obtained degrees in both Computer Science and Economics from Stetson
University in Deland, Florida.
Tom Wills - Director
Tom Wills is
an e-business strategist, marketer, and entrepreneur
who for
20 years has taken innovative
information products and services from concept
to reality. His career spans established global
brands
such as HP and Visa – as well as startups
such as CommerceNet and Globe ID. Tom is a
recognized thought leader in the fields of Internet
payments and digital identity.
Tom's role with Cylogy is
to ensure that each customer’s
business needs remain front and center in crafting
and implementing Cylogy’s technology
solutions.
Prior to joining Cylogy, as a founding partner
at LIFT-OFF, Tom provided strategic
international business development and marketing
consulting to numerous emerging technology and
e-business ventures. At HP and
GlobeID, he forged strategic alliances and
mergers, managed pilots, and led standards
efforts involving
e-business technology companies and other
players in the Internet commerce value chain:
financial institutions, payment processors,
certificate authorities, major merchants,
and others.
While at Visa Tom played a central role in
the conception, development, and management
of several key credit
card fraud control services which remain in operation
today.
Tom is a contributing
writer for the
Digital ID World web magazine,
and has spoken
in the press
and at industry forums around the world on
such topics as “how to secure payments over the
Internet”, “putting revenue before
presence in global market expansion,” and “the
American system of venture capital”.
Brian Yamanaka - Director
As a director in the Cylogy team, Brian contributes
to the best practices and technical direction of
Cylogy's consulting teams. Brian has twelve
years of engineering and project management experience.
He is an expert in C++ and has an excellent understanding
of Java, JSP's, Java Beans, and J2EE Portal and
Application servers. Prior to joining Cylogy,
Brian was a founding
member of BigTribe Corporation. As the lead
engineer for BigTribe's mobile location based
service platform, he developed EJB's while managing
a diverse development
team.
Previous to BigTribe, Brian was the Sr. Project
Manager for Macromedia's product integration
team. In this role he provided
guidance, engineering skills, and training
materials to ensure the success of LikeMinds Personalization
Server integration with IBM's WebSphere product
line. Additionally,
while at Macromedia Brian managed
numerous large-scale web application integration
efforts for enterprise level customers such
as Checkout.com, NetFlix, and Z-Gravity.
As a founding engineer at Sentius, Brian completed
the architecture and developed a CD-ROM and
Internet multi-player game using Macromedia's
Director and Java for Macintosh and Windows platforms.
He received
a patent for his work at Sentius where he developed
a method for quickly assessing dense multimedia
hyperlinks.
Brian also received a patent for his work at
Sony Corporation where he developed a new human
interface
for media control which received a corporate
award. Brian graduated from the University
of Illinois
at Urbana-Champaign with a B.S. degree in Computer
Engineering.
